Guess who stopped by KidsTLC this week?  “Molly”!!  She stopped by to see some of the nurturing, caring staff that supported her journey and share the exciting news that she has a new job at Burger King! She looks great! During “Molly’s” time at KidsTLC, she benefited from many of our volunteers activities.  She had a chance to beat an MNU student in a little one on one basketball.  Molly struggled and she grew. She served at the KidsTLC day at the Community Food Pantry.  Molly struggled and she grew. She participated in Girls on the Run. Molly struggled and she grew. She danced the night away at the Fall Dance. Molly struggled and she grew.  She showed off her artistic talent during Volunteer Activity Night craft time.  Molly struggled and she grew. She graduated from KidsTLC, is getting B’s in most of her classes and has a job at Burger King.  Next time you pay for your cheeseburger and fries, think about the struggles that teen employee may have faced and the difference your time as a volunteer might have made along the way.
