KidsTLC has gone global! This week we welcomed students from Ecuador and Peru to learn about social service in the United States and have some fun with our kids. Students joined in an typical day’s PE class (with an international twist), playing beach volleyball, trying their hands at a paper plate relay, then wrapping up with some ping pong, air hockey and a rock wall climbing.  KidsTLC partners with Global Ties KC to not only provide professional adult and student groups with a chance to learn about nonprofits in the United States but more importantly a chance for our kids to learn about and interact with other cultures. Two lessons we learned were that laughter is the same in each language and that teamwork on a volleyball court knows no geographical lines!
