Everyday our kids face the challenge and reward of transformation! This week, thanks to Johnson County K-State Extension office staff, our kids had the opportunity to learn about another magnificent creature who experiences the powerful effects of transformation. Over the next month, students and teachers in our on-campus school will be utilizing a variety of materials and resources in the classroom to learn about Painted Lady Butterflies – starting with the tiny little caterpillars that were entrusted to our care this week. Everyday KidsTLC staff and volunteers are entrusted with the lives of children, seeking shelter from the storms in their lives, looking for the opportunities to change and hoping to achieve transformation. KidsTLC is truly Transforming Lives in the Community!
