New Residential Building

In light of significant waiting lists, KidsTLC has been challenged to increase its capacity to bring this same healing and hope to more children and families. Fortunately, an extraordinary opportunity opened up for KidsTLC to meet the need. The organization harnessed the opportunity to acquire and renovate an adjacent facility and increase the number of children served, while drastically reducing the time they must wait to receive care. A former skilled-nursing facility, just north of the current campus, was ideal in its design, price and location. With the help of the community, KidsTLC can bring hope to more children that struggle with severe mental and behavioral issues.

Existing Campus Renovations

An important goal of Rooted in Hope is to invest in KidsTLC’s current grounds and facilities. Upgrades to its existing facilities, built in the 1990s, include renovations and updates to reengineer the campus and give it a fresh look that is not only bright and inspiring, but more functional and therapeutic; add security features and technology; replace equipment and furnishings; update signage; increase parking.

Programs/Agency Operations

With the expansion of our campus, KidsTLC will enhance vital programs to better serve children and families in need. This growth supports the launch of THRIVE planned respite program, expansion of after-care family support, and the development of Infinity services for children with autism spectrum disorders or intellectual and developmental disabilities who also face co-occurring mental health challenges.

Endowment

By strengthening its endowment, KidsTLC will be able to invest more in innovation and provide for ongoing program and facility maintenance needs. A strong endowment will allow the organization to remain adaptable to meet continually changing needs for years to come.
