Juvenile Intervention Services (JIS)

JIS currently has three case management programs which it utilizes to provide youth and families with strengths-focused, community based intervention:  Truancy Case Management, Juvenile Offender Case Management and Family Case Management.  All three of these programs have the same mission and vision, yet serve specific populations.

Mission:

To provide community-based case management services to juveniles and their families referred to the Juvenile Intervention Services Programs as a result of truancy, an alleged juvenile charge or conjoint Child In Need of Care/Domestic Violence charges.

Vision:

Juvenile Intervention Services will assist clients with acknowledging and utilzing their own strengths that will enable them to function more productively and responsibly within their communities, schools, and families.
