JIS currently
has three case management programs which it utilizes to provide youth
and families with strengths-focused, community based intervention:
Truancy Case Management, Juvenile Offender Case Management and Family
Case Management. All three of these programs have the same mission
and vision, yet serve specific populations.
Mission:
To provide
community-based case management services to juveniles and their families
referred to the Juvenile Intervention Services Programs as a result of
truancy, an alleged juvenile charge or conjoint Child In Need of Care/Domestic
Violence charges.
Vision:
Juvenile Intervention
Services will assist clients with acknowledging and utilzing their own
strengths that will enable them to function more productively and responsibly
within their communities, schools, and families.
